Amherst police respond to shots fired near Sundridge Park

AMHERST, NY – Police in Amherst have investigated a shots fired incident near Amherst Park Wednesday night. The shots were heard at around 7:00 pm and several reports were called into police dispatch.

Police officers arrived at Sundridge Park at were able to determined that nobody was hit by the shots fired. The incident is under investigation and police are asking residents who may have witnessed the incident to contact police headquarters.
