$100,000 lottery ticket sold at Elkton Liquor Store

ELKTON, MD – An Elkton woman is celebrating today after winning $100,000 playing a popular Maryland Lottery scratch-off. An extended play $10 instant ticket, the $100,000 Crossword game gave her one of its top prizes.

The 32-year-old Cecil County resident found her lucky instant ticket at Brantwood Discount Liquors in Elkton. The $100,000 Crossword game, which went on sale in August 2020, is the fourth edition of this popular game. It started with eight $100,000 top prizes and has three remaining along with five $10,000 prizes and over 200,000 prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.

Brantwood Discount Liquors is winning, too. The Cecil County retailer located at 1076 Augustine Herman Way will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off in the game.
