Woman found slumped over in car, passed out

Port St. Lucie, FL – The Port St. Lucie Police Department found a woman slumped over in a running vehicle.

She was arrested for D.U.I, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

Officers located Stephanie Salvestrini parked in a commercial parking lot after a concerned citizen called 911. Her vehicle was running, the driver’s side door was open, and she was sitting in the driver’s seat slumped over.

Officers awoke Salvestrini who began acting erratic and unable to answer questions coherently. Officers requested medical assistance on her behalf, however, she refused any treatment.

Officers located two capsules inside a tin container, which tested positive for Fentanyl. This situation could have resulted in disastrous consequences for the driver and innocent citizens. We implore you to not drive under the influence of any substance that will impair your driving.
