BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police have made an arrest in reference to the homicide that occurred on April 17, 2021. Detectives have arrested 20-year-old Cortez Johnson of Baltimore.
Johnson shot and killed 38-year-old Ivan Joseph Green while in the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue.
Detectives transported Cortez Johnson to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1st-degree murder.
Southwest District Homicide Investigation
On April 17, 2021, Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue for an aggravated assault. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located an adult male, unresponsive, suffering from signs of trauma to the body.
