Forest High School Shooter Gets 30 Years in Prison

OCALA, FL – This week we remember Friday, April 20th, 2018. Sky Bouche (DOB: 06/05/1998) walked onto the campus of his former high school with a guitar case containing a sawed-off shotgun. He had intentions of hurting students and invoking fear. Bouche equipped himself with a tactical vest and gloves to prepare for the shooting. Shortly after, he fired a shot through a classroom door and injured a student.

At 8:39am, Deputy Long heard the gunshot and by 8:42am Bouche had been taken into custody.

Bouche faced charges of Terrorism, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Culpable Negligence, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Possession of a Firearm on School Property, Possession of a Short-Barreled Shotgun, Interference in a School Function, and Armed Trespassing on School Property.On Thursday, April 22, 2021, after having pleaded guilty, Bouche was sentenced to 30 years in prison with an additional 30 years of probation after release.
