ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Police are trying to figure out what happened to 79-year-old Donald Coston. Last year, his head was found by a jogger in St. Petersburg.
On July 7, 2020 a jogger told St. Petersburg Police they discovered a human head near the intersection of 38th Ave. S and 31st St. South.
“Through DNA we now know that the remains are those of 79-year-old Donald Coston,” the department said. “We’re trying to retrace his last steps, and strongly encourage anyone who knows about his whereabouts in early July 2020, to contact us at 727-893-4823.”
