Two shot at famous Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York City

BROOKLYN, NY – Known as one of the premier steak destinations in America, Peter Luger steakhouse offers one of the best culinary experiences for steak lovers in the tri-state area. That is, except for Thursday night when a fight broke out at a table and two patrons ended up with gunshot wounds.

The incident happened at around 9:45 pm when an argument broke out at a table in the restaurant. That argument spilled outside when one of the combatants, a 24-year-old male drew his gun and started shooting the other person. Those shots missed and two innocent bystanders were shot instead as they ate their dinner.

Two victims, age 30 and 57 suffered gunshot wounds in the shoulder and abdomen, police said.

The shooter was arrested by New York City Police officers. Peter Luger is located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
