Two shot in Columbus after a man opened fire into their car

COLUMBUS, OH – On Thursday, 6:55 pm, Columbus Police Officers responded to an area hospital on the report of two people who had just arrived with gunshot wounds. Officers made contact with both victims, 21-year-old Jeremiah Hall-Williams and 20-year-old Gianna Hancock, who were both in stable condition.

Officers spoke with Jeremiah Hall-Williams who stated that they were on Morse Rd when a tan/ brown colored 4-door sedan pulled up on the driver’s side of their vehicle then a light-skinned black male opened fired on their vehicle striking it several times. Officers then spoke to Gianna Hancock who gave the same story.

There were two additional victims in the vehicle but they were not struck. After speaking to all the victims, their stories were similar, the only difference was the description of the suspect’s vehicle. This incident is still under investigation.
