In New Jersey, you can get a free beer if you get vaccinated

Are you on the fence about getting your COVID-19 vaccine? No worries! Maybe a free beer will change your mind. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy today promoted a partnership with several state breweries.

If you get your first shot in May, you can get a free beer at one of thirteen breweries across the state.

“We’re not going to be afraid to try new things,” Murphy, a man known to enjoy his alcohol said. “It’s the only reason regret not waiting to get my first shot. If you see me showing up, you know it’s because I’m not playing by the rules.”

The department of Health has partnered with the Brewers Guild of New Jersey to provide a free beer to anyone who gets their vaccination this month. The offer is eligible only for those 21 years of age and over.
