John Kelsey arrested for murder of Greg Lovejoy

FAYETEVILLE, AK – 33-year-old John Kelsey has been arrested for 1st Degree Murder in connection to the homicide on Daisy Ln. last week. 25-year-old Juan Macias-Torres was arrested for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of a controlled substance in connection with the crime. On April 29, 2021, at approximately 6:35 AM, Fayetteville Patrol Officers responded to the shooting.

The investigation into Greg Lovejoy’s killing led investigators to Kelsey, who was arrested Wednesday evening in Fayetteville and Macias-Torres, who was arrested Tuesday in Fayetteville. Both are being held at the Washington County Jail.
