Wall Township massage therapist charged for inappropriate touching

WALL TOWNSHIP – An employee of Happy Feet Reflexology has been charged with criminal sexual contact after clients reported that a massage therapist inappropriately touched them. The Wall Township Police are asking for other potential victims to come forward.

On May 4, 2021, An Qinghai, 55, of New York, an unlicensed massage therapist was arrested by members of the Wall Township Police Department. He was charged with two counts of 4th degree criminal sexual assault. Following his arrest, he was processed and released.

Qinghai has been employed by Happy Feet Reflexology located at 1933 Route 35 for approximately two (2) years and the alleged incidents occurred between January of 2020 and March of 2021. Investigators are still seeking additional information. Anyone with information about Qinghais’ activities are urged to contact Detective Ty Hughes of the Wall Township Police Department at 732-449-4500 ext. 1191.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
