Columbus Police find two dead bodies after responding to B&E call

COLUMBUS, OH – On May 9, 2021, at 8:46am, officers responded to a person breaking into a home at 425 S. Glenwood Ave.

Upon arrival, officers apprehended a male black individual breaking into the back door of the residence. This individual stated that his cousin was inside the home deceased.

Officers entered the home and found two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds, who were pronounced deceased at scene, 44-year-old Carlos Benito & 42-year-old Jeremy Bickerstaff.

The black male had also sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to OSU Wexner Medical Center in stable condition. There is no suspect information at this time.
