VERMILLION, OH – James Earl Thompson, age 39, is wanted in connection with a motor vehicle pursuit initiated by the Vermilion Police Department that ended near the intersection of US6 and Risden Rd. in Vermilion Township Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Thompson fled on foot from his vehicle and was last known to be traveling southbound through a wooded area from the Norfolk Southern RR tracks just west of Risden Rd. A K9 search was conducted, but at this time Mr. Thompson has not been located. He may still be on foot in the area and he is possibly armed. Mr. Thompson was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, darker camouflage cargo pants, and a matching camouflage hat. If you see, Mr. Thompson DO NOT approach him but call 911 immediately.
