Macon trailer park double murder suspect arrested

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a Macon man for the double homicide at 2621 Jeffersonville Road, Avalon Mobile Home Park, on May 10, 2021. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators were able to determine during the investigation that 19-year-old Jaives Jamel Fountain, of Macon, had been at the residence.

Investigators interviewed Fountain at their office. During the interview Fountain admitted to being at the residence during the time of the murders of 29-year-old Quinterious Hillman, of Macon, and 29-year-old Jerod Lester, of Macon.

Fountain was transported to the Bibb County jail and charged with two counts of Murder. He is being held without bond at this time

Deputies were dispatched to 2621 Jeffersonville Road, Avalon Mobile Home Park, at 4:30 p.m., regarding a person down. Upon arrival deputies located two subjects inside trailer Lot #106 that were unresponsive. The victims were identified as 29-year-old Quinterious Hillman, of Macon, and 29-year-old Jerod Lester, of Macon. The next of kin for both subjects have been notified per Coroner Lonnie Miley. No one else was injured during the incident.There is no information on the suspect at this time.
