Three wanted for armed robbery at barber shop arrested

COLUMBUS, OH – On May 13, 2021 at 2:05am, the victim had just walked out of a barber shop on Sullivant Ave. and was attempting to get into his vehicle when 2 armed suspects approached him.The suspects began hitting the victim in the head and face with their guns.

A third suspect joined in beating the victim with his gun.The suspects tried to rob the victim of his cell phone and wallet. During the altercation, one of the suspects stole the victim’s gun from his waistband.The victim was able to get away from the suspects and call for help

.Officers located the suspects’ vehicle traveling in the area of Wedgewood Ave. and Briggs Ave.

All three suspects were arrested without incident. All three were charged with aggravated robbery: 18-year-old Hussein O. Abdi, a 15-year-old male and 28-year-old Mohammed T. Jamhour.
