Watch as Sarasota Police save Pitbull from near death in locked hot car

SARASOTA, FL – Sarasota Police officers and animal control officers rescued a pitbull from near death in a hot car with an inside temperature of over 115 degrees. The owner said he left the car running, but when officers arrived they suspected the dog was in dire distress.

Not taking any chances, police broke the car window and rescued the dog. The owner not only will have to pay for a new window, but he was issued two citations by Animal Contol.
