Married couple forced apart for one year after 73 years of marriage due to COVID reunited

Joseph Andrew Bigler, 96, and Margaret Louise Baldwin Bigler, 97 have been married for 73 years, but in 2020, they were living separately because of COVID-19 and Pennsylvania’s moratorium on visitors at assisted living facilities.

Last month, the couple was reunited at HarmarVillage Care Center in Cheswick, Pennsylvania. This touching moment was caught on video. The COVID-19 pandemic separated families for one full year.
