Fat Jack’s BBQ has $30,000 smoker trailer stolen, have you seen it?

WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ – Sometimes in New Jersey, nothing is sacred, not even the smoker that delivers some of the best BBQ in the entire state. On Monday, somebody stole an expensive smoker trailer at Fat Jack’s BBQ and it means a lot to them and their loyal customers to get it back.

It’s not the first time it was stolen. Several years ago it was stolen and recovered.

“Smoking meats is the lifeline of our business. Some time after we closed at 8pm last evening (Sunday 6/13/21) and opened this morning (Monday 6/14/21) at 9am, our $30,000 smoker was stolen, despite it being both booted and locked,” the restaurant said on Facebook. This is the second time it has been stolen in 5 years. The last time, with the help of news stations, and social media, we were able to recover it.”

Fat Jack’s is asking residents in the region to keep an eye out for it. If you see it, let the police know immediately.

“We are again asking for your assistance in locating our smoker. This is a devastating loss for our family and our 12 amazing employees,” the restaurant said. “Any assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Police report has been filed with Monroe Twp PD. Attached are some pictures of what it looks like. If you have any information please email Kevin@fatjacks.net We appreciate the help and support.”

So if you happen to see your neighbor smoking their Father’s day bbq on a $30,000 smoker, don’t be afraid to make that call.
