Two shot, one killed in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Two men were shot this afternoon—one fatally—in Atlantic City and the ACPO Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Before 4 p.m., Wednesday, Atlantic City Police officers responded after a ShotSpotter alert was received of shots fired in the area of Maryland and Baltic Avenues. When ACOS officers arrived 2 men were found shot.

One of the men has died and the other man is currently being treated. This is an ongoing investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department.
