Fugitive drug trafficker caught in Concord

Concord, NH – Earlier this month, U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force “Fugitive of the Week,” Jonathan David Hodgman was arrested after a motor vehicle accident.

Jonathan Hodgman, 41 years-of-age, who was known to have ties in both the Laconia & Concord, NH areas was featured as the “Fugitive of the Week” on March 10, 2021. Mr. Hodgman was being sought on a Belknap County arrest warrant alleging probation violations stemming from a 2017 arrest and conviction for narcotics offenses.

As part of the search for Hodgman, he was featured as the “Fugitive of the Week” on March 10th. This feature was aired on WTPL-FM, WNTK-FM, WTSN-FM, WEMJ-FM, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Manchester Information, the Manchester Ink Link, The Rochester & Lebanon Voice and prominently featured on the internet. The “Fugitive of the Week” continues to be a very successful tool that has resulted in the location and arrest of over 500 fugitives since its implementation in 2007. Additionally, the “Fugitive of the Week” was distributed statewide to all law enforcement officers in New Hampshire.

On June 5, 2021, members of the NH State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Murray Hill Road in Hill, NH. At the accident scene, it was discovered that the operator of the vehicle was Jonathan Hodgman. Hodgman was arrested on the outstanding superior court arrest warrant and was transported to the Concord Hospital @ Franklin, where he was treated for his injuries. Upon release from the hospital, Hodgman was turned over to the Belknap County Sheriff’s Office and was transported to the Belknap County Jail for processing and holding pending his initial court appearance. Mr. Hodgman is currently being held without bail at the Belknap County Jail pending the resolution of this case.
