Police investigating multiple shootings, murder in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – On June 27, 2021, at 6:15 am, Fayetteville Police Department officers were dispatched to the 500 blk of School St. in reference to reports of a shooting. The preliminary investigation has revealed an adult male was shot multiple times in front of the residence. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Shortly after, another shooting was reported along the 300 blk of Browns Ln. It was determined that the adult male at this location was shot during the incident along School Street. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identifications of those involved are currently being withheld.
