Frazier tosses a gem as Toms River East Little League wins championship

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Beast from the East is back and has its eyes once again set on Williamsport. This week, Toms River East Little League dominated their opponents, defeating Jackson Little League 7-0 and 7-0 in two games and Manchester 16-6.

In the championship game on Saturday, East once again shut out Jackson Little League. 23 years ago, TRELL, headed then by Todd Frazier went all the way to win the Little League World Series. This time, it’s Frazier’s nephew Carson who is helping his team along the way.

Carson Frazier threw a complete game shutout striking out 8 batters over 6 innings. Frazier is the son of Charlie Frazier, Jr. He pitched a perfect game through the third inning. Toms River East now heads to the Section 3 tournament to be held in Hamilton Township.
