Two teenagers shot on State Street in Albany

ALBANY, NY – Police in Albany are investigating a shooting on State Street which sent two teenage boys to the hospital.

On Sunday, at approximately 9:45 p.m., staff from Albany Medical Center Hospital notified police that two 15-year-old males entered the emergency room with gunshot wounds to their legs.

“Through the investigation, it was determined that both were shot while on State Street just east of Eagle Street,” the Albany Police Department said in a statement. “Both victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”

At this time the investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Albany Police Detective Division at 518-462-8039.
