Nabisco’s New Jersey factory shutting down today ceasing local Oreo production

After 63 years in operation, Nabisco is shutting down its Fair Lawn manufacturing plant. The final boxes of products will be packaged today. The company says most of the employees of the plant have either moved on to other jobs or have retired since the announcement to shutdown the plant was made. The plant opened in 1958. The company announced the closure in February. ABC Eyewitness News reports.
