Thanks but no thanks as RWJ Barnabas fires unvaccinated front line workers

If you worked throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and put yourself in front of COVID-19 patients for a full year before there was a vaccine, it doesn’t really matter. The rules are the rules, the company says, even if they’re newly created rules.

RWJ Barnabas told all of its employees to get fully vaccinated by June 30th. Today, six employees were fired by the company as reported by NJ101.5.

“Regrettably, six (6) staff at the supervisor level and above have not complied with the mandate and are no longer employees of RWJBH, per our policy,” an email sent to employees read.

Last week, Hackensack Meridian Health warned its employees to get vaccinated by September 15th.
