Fan throws baseball and hits Red Sox outfielder, gets lifetime ban

The Boston Red Sox team walked off the field at Yankee Stadium this week after a fan threw a ball and struck Alex Verdugo. Verdugo began screaming, pointing, and yelling at fans in the bleachers and the game was briefly interrupted after the Sox cleared the field in protest. Umpires forced Boston back into the field in order to finish the game as a rainstorm moved in. The fan who threw the ball has now received a lifetime ban from Major League Baseball games.

Verdugo called fans “Sad f-cking p-ssies” during his tirade. Here’s a breakdown of the incident by Jomboy Media.
