Surfing a Seastreak Ferry wave in New Jersey

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – New Jersey isn’t exactly known as a surfing state despite having 130 miles of Atlantic Ocean beachfront. The waves in Jersey are hit and miss and it takes a few factors to catch the perfect wave. That didn’t stop surfer Jamie O’Brien from Hawaii’s Northshore from visiting and making the most of it.

Making the most of it involved catching the best wave in the form of a wake from a Seastreak ferry. Launching from the Atlantic Highlands Harbor, the team goes out into the Sandy Hook Bay to catch a ride from the Seastreak.
