Suspect who shot and killed 13-year-old girl in the face in Philadelphia bragged about it

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The man suspected of killing 13-year-old Alezuana Carter bragged about her brutal slaying to his friends, public records now show.

Luis Rodriguez, 25, was arrested this week for her murder which took place on April 18th at around 11 pm on Overington Sreet. She was shot in the mouth inside a home and was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.

Court documents say Rodriguez fled the crime scene shouting, “I shot her, I shot her in the neck.”

Police say video evidence exists of Rodriguez entering and leaving the home where the teenage girl was found dead and that he bragged to several other individuals that he killed her.
