Yankee Cat: This cat at Yankee Stadium was the highlight of Monday’s 7-1 loss to the Orioles

BRONX, NY – New York Yankees fans chanted “MVP” and “Let’s Go Cat” as a cat eluded park security and groundskeepers for nearly four minutes Monday night. The cat ended up being the highlight for the Yankees who put on a dismal performance on the field, losing 7-1 to the struggling Orioles.

Fans saw more action from this cat than the entire Yankees lineup on Monday night.

“We usually don’t show when somebody gets on the field,” Yankees announcer Michael Kaye said. “This time, we’ll make an exception.”
