TORRINGTON, CT – The Connecticut State Police reported a runaway car carrier speeding through a residential neighborhood.
“After this truck lost its brakes on a local road, Torrington Police called in the State Police Truck Squad to conduct an inspection. This frightening video serves as a reminder to all Connecticut drivers to be aware of their surroundings and the traffic around them at all times,” the Connecticut State Police said. “Thankfully the driver in front of this runaway truck was able to avoid being struck and pulled off the road safely because they were paying attention. The State Police Truck Squad actively conducts enforcement on highways, conducting inspections on trucks to prevent incidents like this!”
