One person shot on Southeast Avenue in Portland

PORTLAND, OR – On August 4, 2021 at about 2:33 p.m., Portland Police were dispatched to a shooting that occurred in the 2600 block of Southeast 145th Avenue. Officers arrived and found a gunshot victim a short distance away from the location where investigators believe the incident occurred. Police facilitated the safe arrival of medical personnel to treat the victim, who was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Officers searched for evidence and witnesses in the area and established a crime scene. The suspect fled before police arrived.

The Portland Police Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) responded and took over the investigation.
