Philadelphia police searching for man who shot victim during struggle at take out

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police are searching for a man they say is responsible for a shooting in the city’s 35th district.

The shooting took place on August 5th at approximately 11:06 pm, inside of a food take-out located at Chelten and Ogontz Avenues. A physical dispute occured prior to the shooting. During the struggle, the offender was able to fire a gun, striking the complainant’s hand. The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black mMale, wearing a black brimless cap, black t-shirt, blue jeans with rips, white socks, black flip flops and a black cast on his right hand.
