KABUL, AFGHANISTAN – A new video emerging from Kabul shows desperate Afghanistan civilians hoisting a baby over a wall at Kabul airport. ON the other side, U.S. soldiers brought the baby to safety over the barbed wire at the top of the wall. The soldier grabbed the baby by its arm before passing it off to others.
Reportedly, the child’s mother was also lifted over the wall along with other women and children assisted by U.S. troops.
The video caption translates to, “The Afghans desperately wanted to escape the control of the Taliban and wanted to enter the Kabul airport. A baby was pulled across the wall by American soldiers.”
