LULING, TX – Clean energy is to blame after a train traveling through Luling struck an 18-wheeler transporting a wind turbine blade. The truck appeared to have been having difficulties navigating a turn across the train tracks when the train crashed through the blade which blocked the track. The driver made a last-minute effort to pull his load across the tracks but was unsuccessful. Police in Luling said there was damage to the train engine, several vehicles, and train track equipment in the vicinity. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
