Man shot dead in Tulsa apartment complex

TULSA, OK – On 9/2/21 around 4:15 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at the Edenwood Apartments in north Tulsa. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died shortly after.

The suspected shooter turned himself into detectives. He was questioned and released, pending further investigation. At this time, the investigation shows the shooting appears to be in self-defense. Detectives are not yet releasing the victim’s name, pending next of kin notification.
