Gunman charged in shooting of 39-year-old Baltimore woman

BALTIMORE, MD – On September 4, 2021, at approximately 8:14 p.m., Western District patrol officers were called to the 1000 block of Brantley Avenue for a Shot Spotter alert.

Once in the area, officers canvased the location and located a 39-year-old female in the 600 block of North Schroeder Street suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators were able to identify a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for 38-year-old Bryant Foster for Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

On September 6, 2021, Foster was arrested and formally charged. Bryant Foster is currently being held at Central Booking.
