Albany police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred late Saturday night on Northern Boulevard.On Saturday, September 18, 2021 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the Red Carpet Inn located at 500 Northern Boulevard for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located 35-year-old Shawn Terry of Rensselaer with a gunshot wound to the chest. Terry sustained serious injuries during the shooting and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
