18-Year-Old Male Shot and killed in Dallas

DALLAS, TEXAS – On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at approximately 3:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 400 N. Denley Drive.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, Kendrick Johnson, an 18-year-old Black male, who suffered from gunshot wounds lying on the sidewalk.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  According to witnesses, the victim was shot by an unknown Black male who fled the scene as a front seat passenger of a red or maroon sedan. The circumstances and motives for this case are currently unknown.  This is an ongoing investigation.
