$100,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Howard County

ELLICOTT CITY, MARYLAND – Congratulations to the lucky Powerball player who bought a $100,000 winning ticket in the Monday, Oct. 18 drawing. Adding Power Play to the ticket doubled the third-tier prize!

Check your ticket if you bought it from Ellicott City Exxon located at 4235 Montgomery Road in Howard County. The winning numbers to match were 30, 32, 48, 53 and 63; the Powerball was 12 and the Power Play multiplier was x2.

Even though no one hit the jackpot, there were 7,200 winning tickets sold in our state ranging from $4 to $100,000.

Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Powerball jackpot has rolled to $73 million for the Wednesday, Oct. 20 drawing, with a cash option of $51.7 million.
