An arrest warrant for Murder was filed for 22-year-old Thomas T. Henderson III M/B/22 as the suspect of a murder earlier this month.
On October 1, 2021, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 900 block of Sullivant Ave. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, 21-year-old Cameron Barrett, in the alley suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital in critical condition.
Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries, and he was pronounced deceased at 11:56 pm. At this time, it appears that the victim and the suspect(s) engaged in a gun battle, and the victim was struck.
