Youth Violence Strike Force in Dorchester makes Firearm Arrest

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – At about 9:14 P.M, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force made an onsite firearm arrest of Shaldon Pascal, 23, of Boston, at the intersection of Norfolk Street and Talbot Avenue in Dorchester.

Officers were on patrol in the area of Codman Square when they observed a vehicle with excessive window tint. Officers conducted a query of the vehicle in CJIS and determined the vehicle also had a revoked registration. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at Norfolk Street and Talbot Avenue and removed Pascal from the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle before having it towed and recovered a firearm. Pascal was placed into custody without incident.

The firearm was determined to be a Glock 9mm with an attached laser sight and an extended magazine loaded with thirty-one (31) rounds of ammunition.

Pascal is to be charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity feeding Device, Unlawful Possession of Large Capacity Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Large Capacity Feeding Device, Improper Storage of Large Capacity Feeding Device.

Shaldon Pascal is to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
