Two Dead in Halloween Shootings in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Baltimore Police are investigating two Halloween shootings that left both men dead.

At approximately 12:01 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Leeds Avenue for a report of a shooting. Once at the location, officers located a male victim suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died. Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

At approximately 12:31 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Homewood Avenue in reference to a shot spotter alert. Once at the location, officers located an adult male, unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
