Dallas Detectives Seeking Assistance in Shooting That Left One Man Dead

DALLAS, TEXAS – On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 4215 Copeland St. The victim, Marco Clewis, was found shot inside his residence and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The brother of the victim, Buris Clewis, got into his vehicle and chased after suspects. The suspects were driving a small white four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Sentra. During the chase, the victim’s brother crashed his vehicle at 3600 Elsie Faye Heggins St., and died of his injuries.
