FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigation into an apparent murder-suicide in Franklin Township. The Gloucester County Prosecutors Office has announced the death of 47-year-old John Kolonich and his wife Melissa, 42.

Police here responded to a call of a man dead inside a car outside of a home on Thursday. Police arrived to determine Kolonich had committed suicide with a gun.

As the investigation proceeded, the investigating officers located Kolonich’s wife Melissa dead inside their home on Florawood Court. She had been stabbed multiple times investigators said.
