While Responding to Crash Cops Find Driver Shot Dead

DALLAS, TEXAS – On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call with Dallas Fire and Rescue.  The call was thought to be a car accident in the 7200 Block of Forest Pkwy.  It was soon determined that the victim, Obeng, James, a 46 year old male, had been shot.  He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  At this time, there are no witnesses or suspects to this offense.  This is an ongoing investigation.
