Is Nancy Pelosi really buying $25 million Palm Beach mansion in red-state Florida?

WASHINGTON DC - APRIL 28 2009: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi congressional rally with anti-poverty advocates on Capitol Hill after their meetings with elected officials during Sojourners' Mobilization to End Poverty conference.

Conservatives are pushing a narrative that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is buying a $20 million home in Jupiter, Florida, where celebrities such as Tiger Woods, Celine Dion, and the late Burt Reynolds call home. But is the progressive liberal Democrat pulling up roots in crime-ridden San Francisco to call red state Florida her new home?

According to a story in the Palm Beach Post, the story is false.

“There is zero association between the seller of the home, the buyer of the home, and Nancy Pelosi,” said Rob Thomson, owner of Waterfront Properties about the sale of the $25 million S. Beach Road mansion.

Another $20 million mansion on that street was also sold recently, again, not to Pelosi. “Nancy Pelosi has no connection to either property,” Thomson said.
