Silver Spring, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the homicide that occurred in the 12000 block of Treetop Dr. in Silver Spring on Tuesday, November 30. Shortly before 9 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location and found an adult male victim with trauma to his body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as a 39-year-old James Richard Beverly, from Silver Spring. Detectives are actively investigating this case and believe this to be an isolated incident.
