Suspect Sought in D.C. Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the 6500 block of Piney Branch Road, Northwest.

At approximately 9:53 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched US currency from the victim and then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
