71-year-old Asian man gunned down in Chicago drive-by shooting captured on camera

CHICAGO, IL – 71-year-old Woom Sing Tse, of Chicago was gunned down in broad daylight on Tuesday while walking to the store to buy a newspaper one block away. Police said the attack was unprovoked as a car pulled up behind Tse and shot him before speeding away. The gunman got out of the car to continue shooting at the man once he was laying on the ground.

According to the Chicago Sun Time, Tse came to America 50 years ago with just $100 in his pocket and became a beloved figure in Chinatown and worked his way up from a cook to a restaurant owner.
