Couple who raged at Georgia McDonald’s over missing Splenda packet charged

LOCUST GROVE, GA – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man and a woman after their violent outburst at a Locust Grove McDonald’s drive-through window went viral.

The couple were notified that they would have to go inside if they wanted Splenda for their drink and things went downhill from there during the November 23rd incident.

Crystal Wallace and Marshall Wallace were both charged with criminal trespass & disorderly conduct, as well as simple assault and simple battery respectively. They were arrested by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit.

The incident took place on the night of Nov. 23rd at the McDonald’s on the 4800 block of Bill Gardner Parkway in Locust Grove.

Sheriff Reginald Scandrett said, “The video clearly shows actions that blatantly violated the law and brought national embarrassment to the people of our great County. This type of behavior will not be tolerated.”
